New AI agent platform launches to transform how SMEs work

The launch comes at a pivotal time as the conversation amongst business leaders moves from theory to implementing AI tools that make a meaningful impact.

Kritmatta has launched its AI agent platform to help small and medium-sized businesses run workflows across the systems they already use.

The launch comes as businesses move beyond early AI experimentation and look for practical ways to apply AI inside day-to-day operations. While many AI tools generate outputs from prompts, Kritmatta is designed to connect fragmented business information, understand context and support workflow execution.

The business was founded by experienced investor and business leader Kalpesh Baxi, alongside co-founders Duncan Stuart and Manjit Johal.

The company is backed by Velocity Capital and is part of its portfolio of technology businesses. It is also a member of Next Stage Trajectory – a US based programme that helps the world’s most exciting companies to scale faster.

Krtimatta’s new platform enables non-technical teams to deploy AI agents across environments including email, CRM systems, LinkedIn, messaging platforms, productivity tools and internal data sources. Agents can monitor signals, structure information, identify relationships and queue actions for review.

An intelligence layer built on a knowledge graph and entity resolution approach, is also included. This allows the platform to recognise when the same person, company, customer, project or opportunity appears across different systems and treat it as one connected piece of work.

This addresses a common operational problem inside SMEs and growth businesses. Important information is often spread across emails, WhatsApp messages, LinkedIn activity, CRM records, sales updates, documents and internal notes. Teams are left to manually connect context, prioritise activity and remember follow up actions.

More than 60% of registered users have active agents within 24 hours.
