VivaTech has announced that Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and Blue Origin and co-founder and co-CEO of Prometheus, will appear as a headline speaker at its 10th edition in Paris, bringing together themes of space exploration, artificial intelligence and planetary stewardship.

Bezos, one of the most recognisable figures of the global technology era, will speak on the main stage of the VivaTech Theater, sharing his vision for innovation and the future of humanity.

He founded Amazon in 1994, transforming it from an online bookseller into one of the world’s largest technology companies, and continues to serve as executive chair. In parallel, his aerospace company Blue Origin is pursuing long-term ambitions to reduce industrial pressure on Earth by enabling space-based infrastructure and exploration.

In 2021, Bezos flew aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket, crossing the Kármán line on the company’s first human spaceflight mission, marking a symbolic milestone in the commercial space race.

Beyond space, Bezos has expanded his focus into philanthropy and climate investment. He launched the $10bn Bezos Earth Fund in 2020 to support science-based solutions addressing climate change and environmental restoration, alongside the Bezos Day One Fund, which supports homeless families and funds tuition-free preschools in underserved communities.

More recently, in 2025, he co-founded Prometheus, where he serves as co-CEO, focusing on artificial intelligence systems for advanced manufacturing and industrial applications.

Bezos is due to speak on Wednesday June 17, joined by Blue Origin CEO Dave Limp, in a session moderated by former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino.
